Generation Breakthrough, a landmark initiative in Bangladesh, tackles all these issues and more. Coordinated by the United Nations Population Fund, UNFPA, in partnership with government, civil society organisations and others Generation Breakthrough teaches young girls and boys key lessons that dismantle harmful stereotypes and negative behaviours. The life skills acquired here empower youth as they transition from adolescence to adulthood - as well as provide educators and influential societal leaders with the tools they need to impart these lessons and absorb them in the process.
