Hello!

I'm Kazi, an independent documentary filmmaker and audiovisual producer from Bangladesh. Passionate about crafting impactful stories, I focus on universal themes like human rights, migration, climate, and social justice to connect with diverse global audiences.

Over the past decade, I've led projects recognised for sparking meaningful conversations and celebrating cultural diversity. Honoured with the FIPRESCI Award for my indie short nonfiction 'Could You Be Free Yet Locked In?' (2023), and acclaimed for my debut non-fiction feature in development 'Opekkha' at Dhaka DocLab 2023, clinching both the International Emerging Film Talent Association (IEFTA) and Docedge Kolkata Awards.

My journey taught me the power of collaboration and shared passion for storytelling in creating impactful productions. Thriving under pressure, I strive to deliver exceptional results, fostering teamwork across diverse backgrounds. Committed to working alongside local and international organizations, producers, broadcast networks, and media agencies to craft video productions that resonate globally and leave a lasting impression.

Despite the solitary nature of independent filmmaking, I believe in the strength of community. Grateful for every opportunity, I aim to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded professionals in the industry.

Let's connect and embark on an inspiring journey together! Reach out, and let's collaborate on bringing incredible projects to life.

Cheers!
